We utilize GeneSight to provider Psychotropic Genetic Testing. This is great option for individuals who have tried many medications but have experienced more side effects than benefits. It allowed us to narrow down which medication may be best for you based on how you metabolize some of the more common psychotropic medications.

This test is covered by Commercial Insurances (Aetna, UHC, Cigna, BCBS, etc) as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Commercial insurances may have a copay of up to $330 that will be paid directly to GeneSight. Medicare and Medicaid will cover this test 100%.

For patients interested in a new diagnosis for ADHD, we offer TOVA Testing. This is a computer test that takes about 20 minutes. You must be local to our office to take the test. Insurances will not cover the cost of the test which is $150 but you may use an HSA/FSA card to pay for the test.
