FAQs
-
What type of ketamine services do you offer?
We offer Intramuscular (IM) ketamine treatments in the office and oral ketamine treatments for home use. We are also exploring subcutaneous home use for patients local to the office.

Do you offer ketamine treatment near me?
We currently have a physical office to offer ketamine injections in North East, MD 21901. We do also offer at home ketamine treatments in several states across the country. Please check the ’ Locations’ tab, at the top of the webpage, to see the states where we offer at home ketamine treatments.
-
How does at-home ketamine treatment work?
After an initial consultation and approval from a healthcare provider, patients receive ketamine in a prescribed form (usually oral troches or RDTs) to be taken at recommended intervals in the comfort of the patient’s home.
-
How long is the program?
For in office sessions, typically you will have 6 sessions, twice a week for 3 weeks, then move to boosters every month or as needed.
For at home microdosing, it generally takes 3 months to reach max dose and then patients continue indefinitely or switch to macrodosing.
For at home macrodosing, length of treatment is open ended and is determined by whether or not the patient continues to have therapeutic effect in the absence of significant side effects like bladder problems.
-
Do you take insurance for ketamine treatments?
No, while we have tried to accept insurance for ketamine treatment in the past, it can be very complicated. Insurance will not cover ketamine treatments directly. Use of ketamine for mental health is considered “off-label use” and insurance will not reimburse for these treatments. If you are only interested in ketamine treatments that will be covered by insurance, then Spravato is the only option. We do not offer Spravato treatments.
-
How do I pick up the medication?
For at home ketamine patients, the medication is shipped directly to your home, using one of the compounding pharmacies we work with.
-
Are there any side effects of ketamine treatment?
Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, dissociation, and elevated blood pressure. These effects are usually short-lived and reviewed by the healthcare provider at each follow-up visit.
-
Do you only offer ketamine treatments?
No, we also provide psychiatric medication management for anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD and OCD.
